Andal is the only female alvar among the 12 alvar saints of South India. Andal is credited with the great tamil works. Thiruppavai and nachiar tirumozhi emphasizes that the ultimate goal of life is to seek surrender and refuge at the lord's feet. Reciting thiruppavai, Nachiyar thirumozhi composed by her in the name of the lord, would bestow all wealth, happiness and bliss. Ideal to kept in Pooja altar and can be donated to Vishnu temples.
