Brass Frame Kamakshi

Goddess Kamakshi Amma is a powerful and compassionate form of Goddess Parvati, primarily worshipped in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, one of the holiest cities for Hindus. The name Kamakshi comes from the Sanskrit words "Kama" (desire or love) and "Akshi" (eyes), meaning "She whose eyes awaken desire" — symbolizing divine love, compassion, and grace.

Kamakshi is considered the ultimate form of Shakti (Divine Mother), who grants peace, wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment. She is often depicted in a seated posture on a lotus, holding sugarcane, lotus, and parrot in her hands — each representing beauty, fertility, and purity.
